Jennifer Halley

Jennifer is the owner and president of 3FTL, where she currently serves as the treatment coordinator for first responders’ mental health treatment programs. Jennifer graduated from Oklahoma State University with a B.S., Northeastern State University with an M.S., and is currently completing a second master's degree in Psychology from Grand Canyon University with an emphasis in trauma. Through personal experience with mental health, and married to Brian, a firefighter and paramedic for over nineteen years, Jennifer saw a need to develop a program that would assist first responders through their mental health treatment. 3FTL currently serves local fire and police departments so they can heal from the trauma experienced from serving their communities.

Brian Halley

Brian has been involved with EMS and Fire since 1998.  Brian received his paramedic license in 1999 and worked for many years with rural and city EMS agencies before joining the Frisco Fire Department in 2010 as a Firefighter/Paramedic and Driver Operator. He has been involved with the EMS committee, field training officer and served as A-shift Safety Officer. Brian is currently one of the coordinators for the Frisco Fire Department's PEER support program and is certified in the Mental Health First Aid program, IAFF PEER support program and Tania Glenn PEER support program.  Brian also leads one of 3FTL’s first responder group therapy program and has sat on the board of directors for two years.

Dr. Marcy Henson, DNP, APRN, FNP-C

Dr. Marcy Henson is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama in 2018 and graduated summa cum laude with her Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Woman’s University in  2007. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Texas Nurse Practitioner Association, American Association of Critical Care Nursing and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Marcy serves on the Board of Directors for 3 For the Love, as well as, helping treat first responders for repetitive trauma in the line of duty. Marcy also serves as Chairman of the Board for Cornerstone North Central Texas helping ensure that residents of her local community receive the assistance they need to succeed. She opened Family Focused Care medical clinic in 2011 and Health Fusion of Texas Medical Spa in 2012.

Derek Martin

Derek Martin is an accomplished systems development and integrator and is a Principal Program Manager for the Azure Patterns and Practices Team at Microsoft. Derek has fifteen years of experience in developing and deploying public and private clouds and integrating line of business applications with modern technology. He’s focused developing and articulating Azure and general cloud best practices around governance, networking, security and compute.

Shawn Brightman, CCISM

Shawn Brightman is a captain with the Frisco Fire Department currently serving as a shift safety officer. Shawn has been with the department for 20 years and has a passion for supporting others. Shawn is an IAFF (International Association of Fire Fighters) trained peer supporter, UMBC certified in critical incident stress management, and has been a support group leader and legislative liaison for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation for 6 years. Shawn enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and skydived once surviving to tell about it.


Jester Halley

Service Dog

Jester is a one and half-year-old golden retriever. He joined 3FTL as the company service dog, who works daily with Jennifer, his mommy, and handler, assisting her with loving first responders. Jester was donated to 3FTL from Patriot Paws ( after they noticed he was born to make people smile. Jester has an unbelievable ability to detect an increase in emotions, specifically anxiety, and will give all his love to the first responders that need him in their most vulnerable times, specifically when speaking about their trauma. Jester loves to love and will do any trick, especially saying his prayers, if a treat is waiting on him after he says amen.
